Lookbook: 3 Ways to Transition into Fall using Thigh Highs ft. Tobi

If you've ever scrolled through my Instagram you know that I am obsessed with thigh high boots and socks. It's almost rare to see a photo of me without them. I'm SO glad fall is here so I can finally wear them again without being too warm! Tobi was kind enough to send me some clothing items to help with these looks. If you haven't checked out Tobi before they're a clothing website that has on trend styles and thankfully ships to Canada. The thigh high boots I am wearing in each look are from CallItSpring.

Look 1: A simple sweater dress is casual and cozy. Details like cuffed bell sleeves make the dress stand out.

Look 2: Mixing shorts and sweaters together are perfect for a transition into colder weather.

Look 3: By using a plain miniskirt you can seperate the dressier boots and eye catching top.

Let me know what you think of these looks in the comments below, and please leave your links so I can check out your blogs and Instagram's!

Witchy Vibes & Faux Fur with Shein

This dress was once an off the shoulder flowy summer frock to be worn with sandals and a bikini underneath.. add some thigh high boots, felt hat, and faux fur coat and you have witchy autumn vibes.. much better suited for how cold Halifax has become recently.

I personally have worn chokers with every single outfit lately, and this dress was no exception. The thick velvet choker makes the look a bit more fall appropriate. The dress has flared knotted sleeves and can be worn both on and off the shoulders. It's made of a light material and was the perfect length for my new thigh high boots. The dress was gifted to me from Shein, and you can find it HERE for only $14 dollars. Shein has lots of cute, on trend, inexpensive items. You currently can find a 40% off everything code on the main page of their website, and they have loads of new fall arrivals.

Dress - Shein
Boots - Call It Spring
Jacket - Forever21
Hat - Bluenotes
Choker - Primark

Before I go, I am wondering if any bloggers out there have suggestions for a blogging camera? I am looking for a DSLR with a lens I can use for both outside outfit shots, and inside product shots. Let me know if you have any suggestions :)

The Perfect Holiday Party Outfits

Outfit Number One

Outfit Number Two

Outfit Number Three
As you can see, I've gone a bit crazy on the Lulus.com website and have put together some of my favourite pieces to create the PERFECT holiday outfit. I intend for these outfits to be an inspiration for your looks, but the images link directly to the items on the LuLu's website for your convince. In previous years sequins were a must have, but I'm trying to stay away from them this year and create classy vintage inspired looks, just because something is glittery does not mean it needs sequins on it. Plunging necklines and simple colour schemes are a must have, a combination of fitted mini dresses, 1 piece rompers, black strappy heels, and faux fur are all I'll be wearing to my Christmas parties this year.
I have a cheeky discount code for you to use on all holiday favourites, just click HERE to take a look at the selection.. it's 20% off !
Let me know what you think of the outfits below, and what pieces you would wear to a holiday party!
