The Perfect Face Tan - Sephora's Gradual Self-Tanning Face Water Review

Since summer is coming up I start thinking about how pale in colour the winter has left me, especially my face. I used to go in tanning beds and lay in the sun for hours with no sun protection when I was younger, which is horrible, so now it's only fake tans for me. I WISH I could afford a spray tan but $35 for one week of colour is just not worth it.

For my face I use Sephora's "Gradual Self-Tanning Face Water". It can be scary applying a fake tanner on your face, and this is a nice alternative to that. Besides, we wash our faces so often that a colour which wears away so quickly is not helpful. This product smells amazing, probably one of my favourite smells ever, it's so summery. You put the clear watery liquid on a cotton pad and wipe it all over your face (and neck!) after you've washed it. It will not leave streaks and is very gradual, this means it won't leave pores on your face filled with little dots of pigment. After about 2 uses you start to see your skin turn a nice bronze, not orange, shade. You can start moving into using a darker foundation and it looks very natural. I highly recommend this Sephora product, it's also not too pricey and lasts a long time.
